  I really enjoyed the food and our Server took good care of us. They start you out with a drink,cheese & crackers. It was very different I had fish and chips.. Amazing.Loved the cabin like atmosphere.

  I really want to give this place 5 stars, but there was an issue with my food so I can't. First I'll say that my family and I come to Maggie Valley once or twice a year and we have been doing that for almost 10 years. The past couple of trips we were told that we needed to try Moonshine grill. The locals and other travelers both told the same story. The menu and the staff are great. My family enjoyed their meal and I'm sure mine was just an anomaly. I think that mostly because of the reviews and what we have been told. Much like your favorite restaurant, eventually something isn't going to be that good and you just let it go. I liked this place so much, I am letting my first meal go. I'm one of those weird rational people that understands crap happens. No need for an all caps angry review you see occasionally. The meal starts out with special kind of cheese with crackers. This is as odd as it is good. I believe our waiter was Parker and in my 36 years on this earth I have never had a nicer waiter. We interacted with several members of the staff and they were just great. Where I am from, a restaurant in a hotel/motel is not a good sign. Either it's going to be very fancy or crappy, neither of which suit me. This is neither. This is right there in that sweet spot. This is a place you should try.

  We were looking for someplace to host our rehearsal dinner that wasn't going to break our bank. Not only did Moonshine Grill give me one of the best prices in town, but on top of that, they have a super cute banquet room that we rented. Lydia was amazing! She had the room nicely decorated for us beforehand. Chef Rick was also great! The food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Moonshine Grill!
